Ich arbeite in Leipzig als freie Typograf*in, Gestalter*in und Künstler*in. Der Fokus meiner Arbeit liegt auf der Konzeption von Buch- und Schriftobjekten.

Ich sehe die Druckkunst und Kalligrafie als eine wichtige Schnittstelle – zwischen Inhalt und Objekt, Idee und Sinnlichkeit, Fläche und Raum – und benutze sie, wie ein sensibles Instrument, um mich einem Thema zu nähern. Die grafische und haptische Ebene entwickeln sich parallel. Die Bewegung des Blätterns, des Faltens oder Aufschlagens wird bewusst miteinbezogen. Die verschiedenen Materialien werden untersucht und ihre Fähigkeiten und Grenzen ausgetestet.

I work in Leipzig as a freelance typographer, designer and artist. The focus of my work is on the conception of book and type objects.

I see printmaking and calligraphy as an important interface – between content and object, idea and sensuality, surface and space – and use it like a sensitive instrument to approach a subject. The graphic and haptic levels develop in parallel. The movement of leafing, folding or opening is consciously included. The various materials are explored and their capabilities and limitations are tested.
